Oh ok you are talking about the Larue LT124 QD Peq-2 mount which yes its taller than the insight mount that comes standard on the Peq-2. Im looking for something like the KAC mount or Larue LT605 which sits a bit lower than the standard mount

I’ve seen a lot of Peq-2’s with corrosion. Use lithium or take the battery out if it’s a personal item. Idk why, maybe it’s heating and cooling of the battery when on a rifle, but I feel like batteries inside PEQ-2’s cause corrosion way faster and more often than any other regular item I’ve used alkaline batteries in.
